He has worked successfully with a population of adolescents on a behavioral milieu and with adolescents battling eating disorders.

Working on the behavioral milieu as well as working on the eating disorder milieu has given me a vast experience in working with the Adolescent population and their families. I have come to understand the idea of Holistic counseling because all areas of a person’s life are important. Clients can possess an innate ability to focus their attention on exactly what keeps them from reaching a climactic level of happiness and by establishing the right therapeutic relationship and partnership; they share information openly and allow themselves to be assisted during the therapeutic process. Ultimately this struggle allows growth and understanding which fosters healing. It is my mission to challenge clients in their desire to achieve their highest level of happiness and sometimes confronting things and situations which may cause those difficulties are necessary.
Dalwin currently works as a Treatment Manager at Green Oaks Hospital in Dallas where he primarily works with an acute population of adults who have mental disorders. At Green Oaks Hospital, Dalwin facilitates psychoeducational and process groups, facilitates therapy, and assists individuals in establishing connections to life resources. Dalwin is working to establish a thriving private practice opportunity while seeing clients at Richland Oaks Counseling Center.
