Denzel (he, him, his) earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas, and is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. Denzel’s professional interests include working with LGBTQIA individuals in the development of their sexual/affectual orientation and/or gender identity/expression; relationship concerns and dynamics; and mood management. Other professional interests include emerging adulthood, identity development, and multicultural awareness related to intersectionality within cultural identities.

His approach to therapy is grounded in feminist-multicultural theory and includes techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), multicultural therapy, interpersonal therapy (IPT), and LGBTQ-affirmative therapy.
