Haleigh Morris received a Bachelor of Social Work at Brigham Young University-Idaho and a Master of Social Work with a direct practice in mental health and substance abuse at The University of Texas at Arlington. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and currently working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) under the supervision of Stephanie Coker, LCSW-S, LCDC, CDWF.
Haleigh enjoys working with clients of all ages but especially enjoys working with adolescents and young adults dealing with depression, anxiety, substance use and/or eating disorders. Haleigh focuses on using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and crisis intervention in her therapeutic approach. She has previous experience working at the Nexus Recovery Center in the Women and Women with Children program, where she facilitated group therapy and conducted intake assessments and individual counseling sessions. Haleigh currently works as a Clinical Assessment Specialist at The Eating Recovery Center of Dallas, helping clients begin their road to recovery. Her goal as a therapist is to make the client feel heard, understood, and empowered. Mrs. Morris is currently accepting clients on Saturdays.
Haleigh works out of ROCC's McKinney office and is out of the office on maternity leave until January 2020.
