registered yoga teacher
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and also a graduate student in Clinical Psychology, currently serving counseling clients in practicum. I approach people, life, and yoga through the lens of loving kindness: tenderness and consideration for self and others. I believe that many of our deepest wounds happen in relationships, and that we also heal in relationship. I practice from the perspective that yoga doesn't have to be a solitary practice. I offer myself as a safe ‘other’ to help co-regulate (regulate our emotions, breathing, etc. together). In helping teach others to come more fully in contact with their own embodied experience in a safe environment, I hope to also be helping others to feel more comfortable experiencing healthy, safe relationships in all facets of their lives.
I completed my yoga teacher training at Peace Yoga Studio. I have since completed approximately 200 hours additional training in attachment, polyvagal theory, and trauma-informed yoga.
