master's student in counseling

supervised by sandra Davis, psyd

Lisa Doll grew up in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois.  She earned her bachelor’s degree from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, double majoring in Elementary Education and Psychology.  After a successful fifteen year career in education, Lisa’s passion for helping others led her to pursue her master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University.

Lisa’s approach to therapy is integrative, including principles and techniques from Adlerian, existential, and cognitive behavior therapies.  She views human nature from a holistic and humanistic standpoint, believing that positive change can occur through the counseling process and a client’s decision to change with the facilitation of a counselor.

Lisa believes that mental health is just as important as physical health to obtain a positive overall healthy well-being.  Her practice interests include working with blended families, divorce, single parents, and individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and existential crises.

Lisa is aware and understands that every individual’s story is unique, as she reflects this in her authentic, genuine, and personalized therapeutic approach.  She feels blessed and honored to walk through the counseling journey with her clients.

Lisa works out of ROCC’s McKinney office. To schedule an appointment with her, please call 469-619-7622 or email ROCC's McKinney office at ROCC.McKinney@richlandoaks.org.
