Will grew up around Dallas before moving to pursue his education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University. Will's professional interests include working with individuals struggling with social isolation, LGBTQIA populations, and other marginalized groups. Other professional interests include multicultural issues, outing experiences, and experiences of Asian and Asian-American populations.

His approach to therapy is integrative, and grounded in existential and humanistic theory. It includes techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), multicultural therapy, emotion-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and behavioral therapy. Will is dedicated to aiding clients in achieving personal goals and meaningful growth as they define them.
