Corey busk, ms

doctoral student in clinical psychology

supervised by Kelleigh Head, PsyD

Corey Busk is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School and is working under the supervision of Dr. Kelleigh Head. He enjoys working with clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He welcomes clients navigating concerns ranging from everyday stressors and life transitions to more complex emotional or behavioral challenges.

Corey brings a curious and hopeful approach to therapy. He believes people are often searching for both an understanding of why they feel or respond the way they do and a sense of what comes next. He enjoys journeying alongside clients, helping them find answers and begin identifying meaningful next steps. His goal is to help clients feel understood while also helping them see themselves and their experiences with greater clarity.

Prior to beginning his doctoral training, Corey’s professional background centered on personal development, growth, and recovery. His work in recovery settings and with individuals navigating meaningful life change shaped his appreciation for the complexity of growth and the different ways people move forward. As he continues his clinical training, Corey is especially interested in memory and neurocognitive concerns (learning disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease), as well as substance use and recovery.

Corey works out of ROCC’s Richardson office. To schedule an appointment with him, please call our office at 469-619-7622 or email the office at ROCC@richlandoaks.org.

We don’t hear much about how painful it is to go from being completely stuck to becoming unstuck. The process of becoming unstuck requires tremendous bravery, because basically we are completely changing our way of perceiving reality, like changing our DNA. We are undoing a pattern that is just not our pattern. It’s the human pattern.
