Mark hassler
doctoral student in clinical Psychology
supervised by Kelleigh Head, PsyD
Hi, my name is Mark Hassler, and I am a Clinical Psychology graduate student at The Chicago School in Dallas, Texas. I am grateful to work under the supervision of Dr. Kelleigh Head, where you will have the support of a caring and collaborative team as we work together toward your goals.
Before beginning my graduate studies, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Behavioral Neuroscience and a concentration in Mental Health from Southern New Hampshire University.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on understanding the connections between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we can identify patterns that may be contributing to current challenges and work toward developing new perspectives, coping strategies, and behaviors that support meaningful change. I strive to create a supportive, genuine, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
I enjoy working with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and other everyday challenges. I also have developing clinical interests in problem gambling and gambling-related concerns, as well as problematic technology use, including online and AI-related behaviors.
Outside of the office, you can find me playing tennis, enjoying a good movie, or studying for my next exam.
Mark works out of ROCC’s Richardson office. To schedule an appointment with him, please call our office at 469-619-7622 or email the office at ROCC@richlandoaks.org.
“We don’t hear much about how painful it is to go from being completely stuck to becoming unstuck. The process of becoming unstuck requires tremendous bravery, because basically we are completely changing our way of perceiving reality, like changing our DNA. We are undoing a pattern that is just not our pattern. It’s the human pattern.”
