rocc sliding scale / reduced-fee services
Richland Oaks Counseling Center is pleased to offer therapy services at significantly reduced rates to individuals, couples, or families who otherwise cannot access therapeutic counseling services. The clinicians that provide services in this program are graduate students from counseling and psychology programs, and thus are under supervision of a licensed professional and supported by advanced pre-licensed clinicians. The cost is $50/session.

the family tree program
As part of our mission to provide quality psychological services to the community, Richland Oaks Counseling Center has partnered with the Family Tree Program to provide counseling at NO COST to eligible families. We provide these services in English and Spanish.
The Family Tree program provides FREE, short-term counseling to Dallas and Denton county at-risk youth and their families. Funded by the state of Texas (TDFPS-STAR), the Family Tree Program strives to prevent or provide early intervention of at-risk behavior that may lead to child abuse or neglect.
Families may be eligible if:
Youth is under 18 years old, and meets one of the following criteria:
There is family conflict (normal conflict – arguing, bickering, etc…)
Youth has runaway or is threatening to runaway
Youth has been truant
Youth has been delinquent
After completing the Family Tree Program, all members of the family may continue receiving counseling at Richland Oaks, making use of our other pro-bono, sliding scale, insurance and fee-for-service counseling. We are dedicated to meaningful mental health care that is accessible.
